Dr. Gretza M. Piñeiro-Hernández, Psy.D.,
is our chief bilingual clinical and forensic psychologist at PPA. With over two decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to supporting immigrants and survivors of violence. Trained at Carlos Albizu University, she developed a specialization in complex trauma, including domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Over the years, Dr. Piñeiro has worked closely with women fleeing abuse, children in crisis, and individuals navigating the legal system, always with a trauma-informed lens. Her role as an expert witness reflects not only her technical expertise in forensic assessment and risk evaluation, but also her ability to translate deeply human experiences into clear, credible findings.
At Pro Psychological Analysis, Dr. Piñeiro focuses extensively on psychological evaluations and declarations for humanitarian visas. She approaches each evaluation with precision and care, grounding her conclusions in established standards such as those of the APA and APLS, while never losing sight of the person behind the report.
